A stolen car ended up on the East High School football field over the weekend.
Anchorage police say the car was found about 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning on the football field.
When police got there, the driver wasn't there, and officers learned the car was reported stolen.
Jeff Trotter, EHS football coach, says he believes the damage put the team's practice behind by about a day.
The Anchorage School District says the tire markings left by the car caused about $2700 in damage to the new turf.
