A 30-year-old Anchorage man will serve 12 1/2 years in prison on weapons misconduct and other charges.
Lamar Joseph Facine was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage.
The U.S. attorney's office said in a release that he was a convicted felon who illegally had two handguns and a shotgun in his possession.
Prosecutors say he also earlier pleaded guilty to single counts of cocaine possession and assaulting a federal agent. The latter was for striking an officer in the face when confronted in October.
