The University of Alaska Anchorage expects to award more than 2,400 degrees or certificates at 2013 commencement.
The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday afternoon at the Sullivan arena.
The student commencement speech will be delivered by Kelsey Waldorf, who is completing a bachelor's degree in justice with minors in political science and communications. She's been part of the Seawolf Debate team and is a member of the University Honors College.
UAA will confer honorary degrees on Emil Notti and Tom Sexton.
UAA will confer emeritus status on two faculty members: M. Hilary Davies in mathematics and Michael T. Turner in counseling.
