A man was hospitalized after being hit in the head with a shovel and grazed by a bullet inside a residence near Old Glenn Highway and Voyles Road.
Police received a call at 4 p.m. Monday afternoon reporting that shots had been fired in a trailer located on the 21000 block of Old Glenn.
APD Sgt. Luis Soto, who responded to the scene, said two men had a disagreement about money.
The disagreement turned physical, and one of the men took out a handgun, Soto said.
Multiple shots were fired during a scuffle to secure the gun. APD spokesperson Jennifer Castro said a man was grazed, and a woman hit one of the men over the head with a shovel.
The man was taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Two suspects are in custody, according to APD, but no one was immediately charged with a crime.
Officers on scene said they are also investigating marijuana plants found at the residence.
