The Anchorage School Board said goodbye to two of its members and welcomed in two new ones during their meeting Monday night, May 6.
School Board President Jeannie Mackie and member Don Smith resigned from their posts Monday. They shared fond memories and accepted warm goodbyes from their now-former colleagues.
Former state respresentative Eric Croft was sworn in for Seat B, which was formerly held by Mackie, and former state senator Bettye Davis was sworn in for Seat A after winning the recent election against Smith.
Tam Agosti-Gisler, the school board's former Vice President, now serves as the Anchorage School Board President.
