The identity of a young adult male found dead in a Fairbanks snow bank early Wednesday morning is not being released at this time as police wait to notify next of kin.
Primary investigator Det. Scott Adams said the cause of the young man’s death has also been suspected, but is not being disclosed at this time either.
“There is definitely pretty clear evidence,” Adams said.
Adams does not believe the death to be suspicious.
Adams said the man’s body was discovered early Wednesday around 1 a.m. when a passerby walking her dog happened upon it.
The body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner’s Office, Adams said.
