Hundreds of people have taken over Cuddy Park during the annual Relay for Life fundraiser.
The event officially began at 7 p.m. Friday and will go for 20 hours, as people take turns walking non-stop to raise money for the American Cancer Society.
112 teams and 734 participants have raised more than $285,000 and it's the second year for the event in midtown Anchorage.
The society celebrated its 100th birthday last Wednesday.
