A light earthquake shakes Alaska's second largest city, but there's been no reports of damage in Fairbanks.
The Alaska Earthquake Information Center says in a release that the earthquake happened just before 11 a.m. Wednesday. It was centered about 60 miles west of Fairbanks, where some residents reported feeling the temblor.
The quake had a preliminary magnitude of 4.0, and it was located about 8 miles deep.
The center says there's been no reports of damage.
