Organizers are planning an Equality Celebration this weekend in Juneau with gay, lesbian, transgender and bisexual rights events.

The Juneau Empire reports local activities Maureen Longworth and Lin Davis, along with the help of others, have organized the two-day event, starting Friday.
Friday evening's events include performances by a Native dance troupe, the Juneau Pride Chorus, drag performers and others.
Saturday's event is a forum on how recent Supreme Court decisions will impact the gay community in Alaska.
Organizers say money raised will support the ACLU of Alaska Foundation.
