Alaska State Troopers say two people were taken to a southcentral Alaska hospital after a weekend plane crash 25 miles east of Talkeetna.
Troopers Saturday night took a call that a Super Cub had crashed on a lake and submerged.
Investigators say 54-year-old pilot Sheila Pierskalla of Wasilla experienced difficulties and landed the plane in the water.
The airplane was carrying one passenger, 54-year-old David Akers of Palmer.
Aircraft dispatched by the 11th Air Force's Rescue Coordination Center reached the crash site and transported Pierskalla and Akers to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center. Troopers say Pierskalla suffered minor injuries.
