Fairbanks police are working to identify a body recovered from Noyes Slough Wednesday morning.
According to FPD spokesperson Lt. Matt Soden, police received a report of the body at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, after a person walking on a bridge saw something floating in the water. The person called Fairbanks firefighters, who recovered the body.
According to Soden, no foul play is suspected in the incident, which is currently classed as a death investigation.
