An attempted burglary in Fairbanks on Friday ended with the arrests of two Fairbanks men.
Alaska State Troopers received a call of a possible burglary in progress on Badger Road just before 3 p.m. AST responded, deploying a tactical robot. One of the suspects, 36-year-old Jeremy Casey, is reported to have leapt from the garage roof of the residence, and fled on foot. Casey was quickly detained.
34-year-old Cody Ladig was also listed as a suspect, after being detained when a fuel delivery driver reported a suspicious looking male walking in the area.
Investigations revealed that both men forced open the front door of the residence and attempted to steal items from inside the home.
Both men have been remanded to the Fairbanks Correctional Center, and are charged with Burglary I, Theft III, Atempted II, Criminal Mischief IV, and Conspiracy.
