Family and friends of an Anchorage woman who went missing during a Kenai Peninsula camping trip last year have resumed their search for her.
Victims for Justice says the renewed efforts to find Valerie Sifsof has included a four-day search in the Granite Creek campground. That's where Sifsof disappeared last July. A green tank top and a black jacket Sifsof was wearing have since been found.
Victims for Justice executive director Susan Sullivan says the family has contacted commercial rafters there to be on the lookout for evidence of Sifsof's disappearance.
Sullivan says a reward of more than $27,000 remains in effect for Sifsof's safe recovery and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for her disappearance.
A reward of up to $1,000 is offered through Crime Stoppers.
